Emotive Objects is a collection of glass objects which compose unique expressions and communication. In this project I indulged myself in memories and expressed associated emotions through research in color phycology, expression painting and body language to develop a visual language that expresses the emotions associated with significant memories. These visualizations of my personal emotions create a storyline of powerful, Happy, loving, and difficult times in my life. Each glass object in the collection captures a different moment in my life, expressing a wide range of emotions. To achieve this, I used my painting collection to translate certain feelings into the glass by looking at the visual language of the expression. This allowed me to focus my research in glass blowing into a certain direction in order to reach a technique that could express my goal. The Emotive Objects collection is comprised of five distinct pieces, creating an abstract autobiography of my life.
